Update: My grandmother passed away at 4:50am Friday, February 24th. We were there with her and she passed just as peaceful as we hoped she would.
Viewing was this afternoon and the services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2pm.

Made it to Charlotte fine. Had lunch with my bff and ate some good southern food. Now I’m sitting on the floor at my gate with my laptop plugged in waiting for my flight, which was delayed until 3:30pm eastern. so I’m sure that this will be interesting. There is no way we’ll actually leave at 3:30pm. It’ll probably be more like 4:30pm. Ugh.

My back is killing me, I’ve not gotten much sleep, and everyone needs to be waking up in about thirty minutes. Then we have thirty to forty-five minutes to get in the car and head out to Minneapolis. And poor Charlie will have to stay in his kennel until Emily gets here around 5:30am to puppy sit until Chris and the girls get back home.
Fuck. I’m so anxious it’s making me sick....
So we are leaving the house around 4:30am tomorrow for the airport. Chris and the girls will drop me off and I’ll check in, etc., and my plane is scheduled to leave at 7am.
I’ll get to Charlotte around 10:42am, grab my bags and wait for my bff, Rachel, to pick me up. We’ll meet up with my mom (and possibly grandparents) for lunch somewhere in town close to CLT and enjoy a...
